Do I need a planning consultation?

As Architectural Designers in London, it is important for us to get to know you and your property right from the start. Our first site visit is an important part of this process and helps us understand your requirements.

What happens on the first site visit?

The visit and the advice we give at this stage is free and without obligation. It gives you a chance to explain exactly what you want; and it gives us a good sense of how best to approach the work you would like done. The process here is quite informal, but don’t be deceived – we’ll be looking carefully both at the design possibilities and the practical considerations which will influence how we could best bring your ideas to life.

How much do planning consultants cost?

The size of your property and the nature of your proposed plans are just two factors that will determine the cost that will be laid out in your consultation plan. We always look for the most effective processes to meet your needs, so that your own project fits within your budget.

How long will the visit be?

The visit, typically about an hour-long, is usually
sufficient to give overall shape to the project and enables us to offer guidance on design and construction options. We’ll make some initial sketch drawings (often made as we talk) which will help you decide how to proceed.
