There are several variations to consider, depending on what best suits your home. And we ensure the focus is not just on increasing floor space but maximising natural light too. The main types of loft conversion are 

Loft conversion with rooflights – typically using Velux windows or similar. This means no change to the roof line, which can be an advantage in the many conservations areas in and around High Wycombe. Careful positioning of rooflight windows will produce a light and appealing new room.

Dormer loft conversion – these can be with one or  more dormer windows, or full width. The latter creates more floor area with full headroom. Large Dormer conversions are sometimes incorrectly referred to as Mansard conversions.

There is more internal head height across the whole floor, with your chosen windows as appropriate. A Mansard conversion is likely to need Planning Permission and also means significant re-roofing as well.
